Hello! Welcome to my website. I have been teaching at South High School since 2002. In 2011 I became one of the 97,000 teachers nationwide who have successfully proven themselves to be accomplished teachers by achieving National Board Certification.
I teach a variety of classes from Sophomores to Seniors. As a Creative Writing teacher, I believe it is important to write outside of school and stay creatively active. I have written for comic books, poetry journals, a newspaper comic strip, magazines, and had a book of comic writing published in 2005. I am currently working on a graphic novel, "The Ocean's Sweaty Face" (see picture) as well as the second of three books of comics for Plan Nine Publishing (http://comixtalk.com/node/1534).
