Read the Polar Express book (could make chairs in the shape of a train - pass out bells - ring together to see if we can hear them).
Fill out the book setting, characters and plot half of the comparison chart.
Have the children take a piece of white paper and pretend they are on the Polar Express. They should draw what the see and then add a cross shape to make it look like a window.After seeing the movie compare the movie and book by finishing the movie portion of the comparison chart.
Play multiplication bingo using the paper train as markers.
